The work is free; partners keep it that way

Everything OI measures and publishes is free, and it stays free because partners fund the public good behind it. OI is non-profit. No commercial model sits behind the work, and no funder directs what the measures find.

Sponsors and donors

Sponsor the public good — the instruments, the Survey, the doctrine. A sponsor may be named alongside an instrument or the Survey. A sponsor does not shape a finding. That line is what keeps the numbers worth trusting.

Parties

A party comes to OI to measure and build its own organization — not for campaign help, which OI does not provide. The counsel is free. OI keeps no party as a standing client: it builds the capacity and lets the party go.

The diaspora base: CanVoteAbroad

CanVoteAbroad connects citizens abroad to the work through local front doors — .ca, .uk, .de, .au, .nz, .bd, and more. Gifts under a thousand dollars are the floor that keeps OI honest. A broad base of small donors means no single hand can tilt the work. Independence is not asserted here. It is funded.
