The tensions within the strained democracy in Singapore have long been known. The Opposition threat to lay bear financial details embarrassing to the Government has provoked numerous law suits of questionable nature. Political abuse of the legal system does not instil confidence in the constitutional integrity of Singapore. The people in power have choices to make. They are adults and know the reputational loss of bullying.
