Words of encouragement are always welcome. Sometimes it seems like a hopeless task to promote the rights and activities of Opposition political parties. Parties are not a favourite social unit, full as they are of human ambitions, contradictions and frailties. Politics is not as enjoyable a spectator sport as soccer, if more engaging than lawn bowls.
Nicole Sedaca at Freedom House is a powerful speaker as seen in this TEDX Foggy Bottom YouTube clip. I have been in on Zoom calls and conferences with her, but this is a chance to see her in full flight.
She doesn’t say anything headline-new or -dramatic: she states the case with vigour and clarity. Good job Nicole!
